I don't know much about phones so I don't know if it can be flashed or jail broke... whatever they do to phone to have them work on another carrier... In any case, It is a good phone only used about a month... It's just laying around my house and I'm tired of looking at it... So someone is gonna get lucky and win a good phone for the holidays!! my boyfriend used to have this same phone same carrier it can be unlocked but with a number code not all that hold this button stuff, you just need to surf the web some times the codes are hard to find

So, I'm confused. I'm looking for a smartphone to use only as an MP2 player/portable wifi browser/Instagram device, not actually for the phone part. I'm looking for one as an alternative to an iPod touch. So... is it locked as in I can't use it for those things or locked as in it can't be actived for phone use?
