This auction is for an official Statue of Liberty knife certified to be a commemorative item created under the sanction of The Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Foundation, Inc.

According to certificate:
"The original dies for this knife will be destroyed on December 31, 1986, just shorty after the 100 year celebration and rededication of the Statue of Liberty - a beloved symbol of American Freedom."

Blade length: Approx. 3-1/2 inches
Total length w/ handle: 7-1/2 inches
Safety lock feature prevents accidental closing.

Includes:
Original box, Statue of Liberty knife, commemorative tack pin, certificate as described above.

The box is not in perfect condition. Lid doesn't close all the way, most likely from being opened often. General wear overall since created/purchased.
