My bud in Alaska sent this to me a couple of years ago.

Alaskan Filet Knife with wood base & wood handle.

This is just too cool! I lived in Alaska from 1962 to 1964, and I've seen Eskimos use these on a big salmon, or a caribou, or moose, etc......and they can flat out do an amazing job with one of these.

LISTEN UP: I would NOT recommend this be around any kids! It's extremely sharp, and NOT meant to be played with.

It's 5 3/4" wide and 4" from top to bottom. There are some light spots on the blade from being handled, but it could be polished right up. Just BE CAREFUL!

It's amazing to watch someone who really knows how to use one of these things. They can take like, a moose, and render the whole thing into a big pile of packaged meat in short order. They can do many things with this, things that can't be done with a regular butcher knife.
