I have a question u might be able to answer,i have a few things of ram i never used. But now i dont know whats what. Is there a way to tell the difference between laptop and desktop extra ram??

hey, if you look up the brand and numbers on the sticker(for ex. the ones on the top of the chip, like in my pics) you can most likely find it online. Desktop ram is usually cheaper if its older because its getting obsolete.

Laptop ram is smaller than desktop ram and runs at different speeds (All in those little numbers - PC3-8500, 1066mHz, and memory amount (1,2,4gb etc)
