It is for a toshiba laptop. When I put it in my hp it came up with the message that this can only be used on a toshiba computer.

A notebook is smaller than a laptop. The capabilities are different also! Is there any way that you can find out if I could use this on a Toshiba Satelite? Thank you very much.

Not sure exact models that it can be used on. If it is like dell software you can use it from a mini netbook to large laptop to desktop. Thanks
