This is a IBM Thinkpad R61 TYPE (model#) 8935-A41. Please DON'T get this one mixed up with the one that has the touchpad. This uses a trackpoint only IF you would want to use a mouse then you can.

I got this from barting. I got 2, one I have upgraded to windows 8.1 pro. I don't need 2 thinkpads, so here you go. The thinkpad is a great computer. I love it because it is the right size for me and love it even more since I upgraded the windows from Windows Vista Business.

Yes, I forgot to mention, I didn't put Microsoft on it, so it has open office which has the same thing like word, excel, power point etc. On my Thinkpad I downloaded office suite X 3.3 which is an upgrade from open office and it's free. I just don't have the money right now for Microsoft even though I get the student discount it isn't necessary for me right now. You can play games. Even with the memory, I have windows 8.1 pro and downloaded some apps and it's still pretty fast for me

You will be getting the laptop and the charger. Everything looks brand new, no scratches or show of wear on the keys. The ONLY thing that is missing is the TRACKPOINT CAP. My daughter (2 years old) thought it was the thinkpad I use and decided to take off with the cap and have no idea where it went. I've found the cheapest will cost $.99 cents online. You can use a mouse, I do when I play games or if I let my daughter play on abcmouse.com for her to do her learning activities. Like I said, great laptop. Happy bidding! :)

Yes it is! :) I love mine. I told my husband he could take my extra one thinkpad (the one above) before I thought about putting it up here since his Toshiba satellite is going quits after 2 years and just update the windows but he's hard headed and I know he'll regret it later lol but what can you do. He's always been a Toshiba fan.

I am a little confused since you are talking about 2 computers!! The one you are auctioning off does it have Windows Vista Business or windows 8.1 Pro? I can't find anything about the hard drive? Do you have any instructions that come with this?

In the description it says windows vista Business. I was just explaining to her about memory and has fast the computer is even when I (on my laptop) have windows 8.1 and it's still fast. No sorry, no instructions. I did post in the description of the url link to the manufacturers website. I would look there or I will later today and post what I find.

I kind of replied to you comments weird a little lol but you can play games on it, you would use a mouse though since it only has the track point cap and if you're playing a game and you have to be quick, a mouse would be best instead of using the small track point. I play face book games and it's pretty fast, my daughter plays on abcmouse and it's fast for her and realize my Thinkpad has windows 8.1 which takes up space and it still runs fast for me.

This laptop can be used for both. Basically whatever you need it for, it's good for. Like I said in the description, there is a memory slot to add more memory like a big SD card. I haven't had to had memory yet and windows 8.1 pro uses a lot.
