Otodus Obliquus, an Extinct Mackerel Shark, predates the Megaladon Shark by over 40 million years. This fossilized tooth is 50 million years old from the Eocene period. It was found in phosphate mines in Morocco. The color comes from the sandstone matrix in which it was found.

The photo is of the actual tooth that you will receive. Unisex (for males and females). The tooth is on an 18 inch silver plated chain, but I can substitue a pink, chocolate brown or black suede leather chain if you prefer it. The tooth is about the size of a quarter. The tooth is in fantastic condition. There are minor imperfections, but that is just part of the deal when you buy a 50 million year old tooth. It think it is fabulous! You have to have this. You also get a Silver Plated Snake Ear Cuff, about an inch long, as a Bonus.
