this might be a silly question, but are they absorbant? i have some kitchen towels that just don't absorb anything. it's so frusterating i've started throwing them away! lol

These are not very absorbant more for show and wiping your hands off. I use them for covering my breadloaves, they are lightweight was the reason I got them They are 100 percent cotton amd a lightweight tight cotton weaved They would ne nice to line a picnic or bread basket. But I know what you mean.
