Nope, it's pretty much new. I got it for Christmas one year but I also got a touch screen phone, so I never use a camera anymore. So I've only used it a few times.

Does this need an SD card or have an SD card slot? How would you download the pics onto a laptop?

To download them to a laptop you would insert the USB in the laptop connected to the camera (where you charge it) and you should be able to open the pictures. At least that's what I used to do.
