The listing, Steps Make a Snowman Christmas Snow Globe has ended.
Are you in a Grinch mood and
need something to perk you up?
Well, maybe a snow globe with a
little snowman inside will change
you from a Grinch to as jolly as
you've ever been!
Get all your materials
together. Snowman, jar,
jar lid, glitter, etc. If
your jar still has paper
on it, rip it all off.
Glue your snowman to
the bottom of your lid.
Super glue works best.
Wait 30 minutes or so
before picking it up
again.
Take the jar and fill it
with just enough water
so that it doesn't flood
over. About 2 inches
from the top is good.
Sprinkle in a lot of
glitter or fake snow, if
you want a good and
sparkly result . If you
don't have either, beads
can be used as well.
Once the jar lid has
dried, screw and stick
the lid to the jar and let
it dry as well. This will
take 30 to 40 minutes.
Shake the snow globe,
and VOILA! You have
a snowman snow globe!
Tips
Cold water is best for this
project. Hot water will make
your snowman's paint wear
out quickly, and the snow
globe will be hot. Glass is
sensitive to hot water.
Don't use a jar with engraved
words in the glass like
Smacker's jars often do. Use
a roundish jar, so it looks like
a real snow globe.
When picking glue, look for
the bottles that say, "long-
term hold" or "waterproof".
You might want to buy a
porcelain snowman, or a
ornament. They stick better.
