Running back Tony Smith was drafted in the first round in 1992 by the Atlanta Falcons. The pick was granted to the Falcons in a trade that sent quarterback Brett Favre from the Falcons to the Green Bay Packers. Smith played with Atlanta for 3 seasons.

Linebacker Rob Frederickson was selected in the 1st round in 1994 by the Los Angeles (Oakland) Raiders. He played 9 seasons including 4 with the Raiders, primarily as a starter. He picked off 5 passes and recovered 5 opponents fumbles in his career, scoring two touchdowns, as well as compiling 15 quarterback sacks.
