One Full Book Of 20 Forever USPS Stamps

not much else to say about this one. 20 forever stamps.
Winner please send me your name and address ASAP when the auction ends and I'll try my best to get them in the same or next day USPS mail and send a tracking number to you when I get home.

When the item arrives at your house please be sure to mark it received on the auction page and leave apropriate feedback and I will do the same when the transaction has been completed.

Thanks for looking and please check out my other auctions.

You can use get it now for 12000 credits of which I only receive 10800 after the fees to Listia. (just in case anyone was wondering why I pick 12000 credits for get it now) I would say 12000 credits is extremely fair and you won't have to wait.

I don't get it either. I would think keeping them in circulation helps the Listia economy. Maybe they are trying to drive up the value of points in general. I would like to see such fees, but smaller. Then the collected fees be redistributed in some manner. Lots of things got me scratchin' my head with Listia. No negative feedback to sellers ?? That invites stiffing buyers. Would love to hear their rationing on a few things. Always got to remember though. Listia is not a public service.

not complaining about a thing here, I love this site and the new people I meet everyday that share similar interests. I'm just stumped on the whole fee thing. I honestly don't even see a problem if every single person used get it now. It would speed things up for some members. It definately wouldn't hurt anyone, including Listia.

they take credits because there is rampant inflation. Gradually your credits become worth less and less as more credits are earned within the site. This is also the reason for rewards auctions.exhibit A: http://help.listia.com/entries/217778-proposed-solution-for-controlling-inflation-taxation
Notice how it's not so out of the ordinary to spend thousands of credits on a mere book of stamps? I'm sure it wouldn't have come close to that amount a few months ago. (It costs $40 for only 1200 credits if you were to buy them. That gives you an idea of how much a credit is supposed to buy.exhibitB: http://www.listia.com/account/buy_credits) This is listia's way of taking credits out of the system, so prices don't get too inflated. I'm surprised they haven't begun to charge credits to list auctions.

not at all. that makes perfect sence. If they charged a cash listing fee the site would never survive, but I see their point at trying to control credits. Not quite sure if it will be as effective as that would like it to be, but I have no problem with anything they do. I choose weather to have get it now or not, I decide if I want to give up those credits not anyone else so I can't blame or complain at all ;}

It's pretty easy to understand why they have fees to use get it now.
For every person that signs up, Listia comes out of the pocket hundreds of credits.....those free credits getting added to the community every day causes serious inflation. People make multiple accounts, bid on a couple of cheap items, rinse and repeat. Listia has to suck credits back out of the community or else we'll all be paying 10,000 credits for a pencil or a sheet of stickers.

Which is why they do rewards auctions, raffles, fees, etc

It's not rocket science to see the inflation rate has raised by alot. When I joined a year ago you could get an entire Wii system for 7-8000 credits. Now, a game goes for almost that much.

I love that they are taking credits back, I thinkt he fees should stay.

never said they shouldn't :) But I honestly don't think the few folks using get it now, adding bold type , premier auctions and a couple of hundred folks dumping some credits into a couple of auctions is really going to have too much of an effect on any inflation as more and more folks join and and more and more items are listed. I can't really imagine all that many folks just joining to get 400 credits then quitting since there really isn't a whole lot your going to be doing with that few credits not to mention the fact most all of the folks bidding on my stuff do actually have somewhat of a feedback history. Who knows, it will be an interesting experiment to see what happens with inflation, and the site as more and more folks join. Like I said before, I'm not complaining and really don't care either way as it doesn't really effect any of my auctions.(listing or bidding)
How much of a difference do you think it will make and why exactly is it you would like to see the fees stay? Just curious to hear your point of view is all. I mean you say listia comes out of the pocket for hundreds of credits but in reality it doesnt cost them a thing and the actualy make money every time someone sines up through site advertisements and affiliate programs. Every single person that joins probably clicks at least one of those reward offers to get credits by visiting a site or filling out a survey or joining netflix....what ever. Thats the only way listia makes their money. I don't know a whole lot of folks that have gone and actually purchased credits from the site to bid on something. Then you have the banner adds and such on every page that I'mm sure bring in cash or they wouldn't be there. I don't know. I don't think it will make a real big difference to the flow of credits on the site,
Thanks for checking out my auction.
