They look the same on the back as the front except they have a straight edge. The pattern runs throughout. The reason they aren't for small books is because of their size. I shouldn't have totally excluded paperbacks...if it's a large paperback, then they would work, just not for the small novel type.

I tried making a couple but nothing as fancy as your pretty corner bookmarkers. I just cut a corner from a colored envelope, made a fancy edge on the front and put a Hello Kitty sticker on it, lolol... yours are WAY nice and pretty! I think you are correct, I think they could be used for larger paperbacks. You could always make more, smaller, different sizes, experiment, but I am sure you have already!

Actually, I haven't tried making smaller ones, but I have an idea for one...just haven't had time to play around with it. This is my first template and I love it :) I'm going to make more with different prints soon and I'll try the different sizes then, too! I love to read, so I have a lot I'm using already! lol
