Description
The listing, set of 10 spools of color coated copper wire for jewelry making has ended.
It is 20 gauge so it is very sturdy if you make your links small enough. I have used a few piece but most have not been touched. No idea how much wire is on each spool and I would ruin it if I attempted to unwrap one. It would get kinks.
Questions & Comments
This is perfect since I am learning how to make a variety of findings and links for jewelry!
That is exactly what I used the few pieces I did take from the spools for. If you need help learning how to make findings let me know. I have found tons of great links on youtube. I am officially addicted to chain maille now! this is perfect for learning. I am using 18 gauge real copper and sterling now. I hope you win!!! Thanks!!!
Counting on these so I can make my family some decorative wire wrapped rocks for Christmas..that is, after I learn some techniques!.. . On a serious budget this holiday! :)
Chain maille? I am completely new to this but am loving the experiment of it all. Never thought to look on you-tube...don't know why. Hey any tips would be appreciated.
almost anything you want instructions for is on the instruct site or youtube. you have to look thru them for the best. anything from crochet to a hair braid!
my biggest tip for anyone working with wire is to cut with a jeweler's saw and not clip them. the edges will never fit together unless you hand saw them!
