I have had this ring about 10 years I believe I bought it at Kmart. It does state 10 karat gold. It is not a real diamond. I have worn it may be a total of a year out of the ten years that I own it. It shines the day I got it and it still does. Sorry I didn't put this in the description but I'm new at this.
