Remote Control Bugs - The Discovery Channel Store. This is a hobby kit/toy for an older child or adult who is into electronics and mechanics. The object of the project was to build a remote control bug, that could then be charged on the stick (charging position on pic 1) and would operate with the stick remote. My son built the roach and it works OK. It does not go as fast as it should when placed on the floor, probably because he has the feet attachments off just a little. There are interchangable cases to build 2 other bugs and the internal mechanics and electronics could be swapped to the other bug shells for a whole new building experience. Each bug is approximately 3" long. The bug with electronics in him can be stored on the remote (position shown in pic 2) . Requires 2 AAA batteries. There are some in it, but not new. Works best to charge the bugs with brand new batteries. I'll ship free in the US.
