Description

The listing, amaryllis seeds has ended.

These are seeds from my amaryllis. These may be all red or multi color red and white as shown.
They are easy to grow. Just place in the ground in the shade and keep damp till they sprout. They will form a bulb that can later be transplanted. In Florida, I leave them in the ground all year. you can research the web on how to care for them. They bloom early spring.

I've never tried to grow this from a seed. Think it would work in zone 5?

Someone from Canada says they grow them there and is bidding on them. It's easy to grow. You just cover the seed slightly with dirt and water about 2 x's a week. I've practically ignored them except the sprinkler waters them 2 x's a week and they just come up. I can't believe how easy it is.

I have grown a couple of these inside in pots. I got a couple that way and then grfew some from seeds off of them. :) I had an all red one and I had orange with green throats. Thery are beautiful and some people call them Christmas flowers also. I hope you will be re-listing! :)
