Yes it is a touch screen and it is android base phone. You can go to Walmart for the sim card...The phone does take pretty good pictures if I say so myself.......

I'll add the info. This is a 50 dollar phone and a Straight Talk threw Walmart. You pay 50 a month to keep it activated. She failed to say you will need a new sim card and why the charger is gone. This phone is barely worth 5000 credits.
