This auction is for a vintage "Letter Carrier/Post Office Dept. USA" patch set that features a Pony Express graphic.

Size:
Letter Carrier - 3 inches length (curved)
Post Office Dept. - 3 inches by 2-1/2 inches
Type: Sew-on, soft woven material
Condition: Used, but in very nice condition.
Bright colors, nice details. Great collectible set!

Information found online:
The Post Office Department (1792–1971) was the name of the United States Postal Service prior to it being a Cabinet department.
During the time that it was at cabinet-level, officially from 1872 to 1971, and was headed by the Postmaster General.
