Yes, our son enjoyed his pet rat VERY much and I enjoyed him, too, and got more pet rats for myself and even bred them! I used to cuddle and play with the babies and for a little while I sold them to our pet store who was VERY happy to get rats to sell who were cuddled and played with and were very good pets!

I also have another auction, right after this one, for a nice, larger handbook - Rats! For Today's Pet Owner from the Publishers of Critters Magazine, a paperback byDebbie Ducommun. Yes my rat was hand trained by me from a baby. He was so incredibly smart, and would always engage me when I would come into the room. We would play all kinds of little games together, he acted like a tiny dog!
