i know what you mean i have collected them for 40 years and i still find ones that amaze me. or find little pictures of history in some town i have never heard of before.

my fav one that you have up is the portsmouth naval hospital I live very close to there and have been a patient many times it is apart of my history I have been collecting since I was 14 I am now 28 I have postcards from all over the US and am always looking for new ones I love them

that is awesome, not that you were a patient there so often but that it is one of your favorites. Collecting these can really take you places and allow you to see things in a very unique and inexpensive way, giving you great snap shots of the places in different times. i have gone on many an internet, and in the old days encyclopedia trip, checking out some of these unique and awesome places.

I go see as many places as I can but for me it's not just seeing new places for every postcard I have is another memory of where I got it or who I got it from or they are places I can't at this time travel to
