esn number are the numbers where the battery goes.. it has alot of numbers.. post on here and we can call sprint to find it if it could be used!

What does flashing it mean? I just bought a sprint phone off of here (I have sprint service) and I just called and turned the new one on. Wouldn't it be the same for this one since it is a sprint phone as well?

if the phone has an unpaid balance the phone will not work! i called sprint to verify.. they need the esn number to see if its clear! so im still waiting for esn number.

I also called sprint..with an unpaid balance, no Sprint user can use this phone unless the first owner of the phone pays their bill. I really love this phone it's unfortunate. Sprint are sticklers :(

Hi i just got off the phone with sprint and this phone wont be able to be turned on from sprint in till march 2011 sorry i thought it would be able to be on in January 1 that is what i was told when i called 1 month ago so i am going to have to take this phone down in less someone still want's it or they want to flash it or what ever don't really no about flashing sorry

I agree nice phone, SPRINT REP: however it will never be able to be hooked up with sprint as long as there is a bill on it .PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: My sister gave me a phone 3+ years ago and til this day it can't be hooked up I just flashed it and I used it for another carrier, but hay it FREE & FREE SHIPPING :))

All I know about flashing is you can pay a company to do it and then it should work with any provider. I don't remember what it costs but when I looked into it the cost didn't really seem worth it since it still might not work perfectly with other providers. Your best bet if you can't pay it off til then would be to have the winner just keep it for 3 months before using it or contact Listia to remove your auctio but Idk if there's enough time now... there might be.

i called sprint and its not a clear esn and wont be cleared until the whole balance is paid in full! It has an outstanding balance!!!
