I won this camera as is from another listia user. I had planned on sending it to Cannon and getting it fixed but got a digital camera for Christmas so I no longer need this one :)

Powershot 12.1 MP SD780 IS Digital ELPH Camera! The person that won this camera on a Listia Rewards auction used well over 35,000 bids to get it!

Unfortunately they dropped it and jammed the lens in open position and now it won't work.

It was sent it to Canon Customer Service and they said they would repair it for $90 -100$(which is a drop in the bucket of what this camera is worth), however I just don’t have the $90 for that right now. If you know how to repair cameras it’s entirely possible that you can repair it for absolutely nothing. I have a feeling it’s just a problem that can be adjusted inside the camera if you open it but I don’t want to try it for fear I might make something worse.
