Yes, I have tried the reset button, also you're correct it's basically a wired router and the wireless does not work. So, if you're an electronics handyman you may be able to get the wireless feature to work. .

probably not. You would have to have the device replaced or get parts for it. Even as a handy man the parts aren't worth purchasing due to you can get a router for the same cost. How old is the router? Would you like to talk to a Technician (myself) about this and see if there is a way to troubleshoot/fix the issue? Send me a personal message. I may have some other suggestions.

I also tried to reprogram the router manually, and had no luck. So, unless you know of another way to get the wireless feature to work. Also, the router was released 12/06.

I did some review researching and seems this router has had that issue quite a bit. So if you have it updated to the latest firmware and reset the device and also made sure you have the latest Windows updates and wireless drivers you should be good and work great but if not then the router is probably not usable for wireless and wired router only. As the device is older it would cost too much to get it replaced or working properly. Sorry to say.
