This is set #5 of a bunch of jewelry mystery gave me in a big jewelry box for of treasures. I don't know much about them but will describe them to the best of my ability... The ring seems to be a princess cut amethyst with crossing rows of diamond like stones on each side. I tried to get a bunch of pics of all the detail. I didn't find any markings but the ring and earrings did not stick to a magnet. The earrings are chandelier style with purple accents. They're stud backs for pieces ears. All seem to be in good condition. The ring is simply beautiful the purple stone is a gorgeous deep purple with great refraction. The open metal work behind it lets the light in from behind to make the color really show. I think the ring is a size 6 possibly 6.5.
