Bonds was a rookie in 1986. This is an All-Star card.

Action AllStars is the name of the set. This is not a 'traditional All-Star Card' you'd find from Topps sets, thus making it Rare. I know that his 1st major league year played was in 1986, but that fact cannot deny this as a rookie card. By your logic, the more commonly found 1987 Topps Card# 320 would not be a RC either. And that would contradict Beckett's position that the 1987 Topps was in fact a Rookie Card.
