So is this more like a wi-fi adapter to receive internet or more like a wireless router to send a wireless signal out to other computers?
Dec 11th, 2010 at 7:32:52 PM PST by
Original
it works more like a router it has to be connected to a PC with an internet connection already

So if its pluged in can i send it to my laptop to get on the internet
Dec 13th, 2010 at 7:09:46 PM PST by

the wifi max has to be connected to a pc that has internet, for it to create the access point for any wifi enabled device. so if it was plugged in to your home pc with internet connection, your laptop would be able to pick up the signal for internet from this.
