Bugs was created on July 27th, 1940 although earlier versions of that Waskly Wabbit was in the early 1930's so I have to say no this is not from 1909 and if it was from 1909 and it happened to be a VDB 1909 Penny then that would have been a huge mistake, so I would just advertise this as a bugs bunny raised penny coin .....date unknown

Who's to say the person didn't have the penny for years and went to the fair one day and had it stamped..I've done it you just reach in your pocket and put it in the machine, who takes time to look at the date? So it is possible...........
