250 Grams of USDA Certified Organic, Soap Nuts. Highest Quality Soap Nuts

What is a soap nut?
Soap Nuts are the fruit of the Chinese Soap Berry Tree. These amazing berries are harvested and then dried in the sun. No chemicals of any kind are added to our soap nuts. Laundry detergent with heavy chemicals is replaced with something all natural and totally organic. The soap nut contains a natural soap called saponin. Saponin has cleaning abilities equal to toxic chemical detergents.
Soap Nuts are extremely hypo-allergenic and can be used by people who are allergic to all other detergents. They are completely green and don't pollute our planet. Soap Nuts go by many names, such as soap berries, wash berries, wash nuts, Ritha, Reetha, Aritha, Dodan, Doadni, Doda, Kanma, Thali.
Do Soap Nuts cost more than toxic chemical detergents?
Most non-toxic cleaning products cost more than the products they replace. Soap nuts cost much less than toxic chemical detergents. Add in the cost of fabric softener or dryer sheets and soap nuts cost two and a half times less.

How do I use Soap Nuts?
Just place 3 to 5 whole soap nuts in the included drawstring wash bag and toss it into the washer with your clothes. Don't use any detergent, fabric softener or dryer sheets. The 1 Kilo bag includes 3 draw string wash bags. The 500 Gram bag includes 2 wash bags. And the 250 Gram bag includes 1 wash bag. Even after shipping almost all of your soap nuts will be whole when you receive them. We recommend breaking them in half before you put them in the draw string wash bag so water can circulate freely through the inside of the shell so they can release their saponin easier. Soap nuts work equally well in top loaders or the newer HE front loaders. With a top loader, expect about 4-6 wash loads using the same soap nuts.

There are 250 Grams of Soap nuts in this bag. There are two little white cotton bags inside that you place approx 8 halves in the bag and you can get up to 8 loads of laundry before replacing them. This bag will wash approx 83 wash loads. I keep a little mason jar down by the washer and put the bag in and give it a shake. As long as it still suds its still good to use!!

They are broken in the bags, Most are halves, the bag is sealed. I use 8 halves. The bags are sealed. This bag does approx 83 washloads. If you have used them before you know that you can adjust as you see fit. Some use 6, 8, 10 halves, I prefer 8.
