It did not come with an armband. I believe it fits on your belt. These came in a ten piece accessory kit and these are not things my kids wanted to use

I've had the ten piece set before check in the packaging. The part I'm talking about is a black stretchy part that goes around upper part of your arm and you hook that thru the back loop of the open faced leather holder.

If you can find it, I'll definitely be budding on this :-)

I've had the flip one before and it's been used so much that the bottoms strips aren't there anymore so my iPod can fall out.
