1997 Space Shuttle STS-86 KSC Launch Space Covers (2) in 4-Page Presentation Folder #41 (not official). The STS-86 mission was launched on 25 Sep 1997 with a crew of 8 astronauts from Cape Canaveral and landed at Cape Canaveral on 6 Oct 1997. During the mission the crew transferred over 4 tons of supplies from the SPACEHAB-DM to the MIR Space Station. These space covers are both cancelled at Kennedy Space Center for the launch. This was the 24th manned mission to MIR (MIR-24).
Note: The MIR Space Station was launched on 20 Feb 1986 and re-entered the atmosphere on 23 March 2001.
