This item is a Hallmark "Barry-Okee" microphone that has three functions; you can play the song, then add various sounds and or "groves" to the mic while it plays the song and you sing into it. It only plays the music, does not record. It does, however, amplify your voice.
There is also a small songbook with lyrics included to help you with your transformation into sounding like Barry White. Yes, it works. It's also fairly loud which is how it got here.
