Looks very kool! My baby is all grown up but I wanted to do something like this for another room, like stars in the sky. (But on a ceiling,I painted it dark blue, like a night scene, ) thinking I'd use fiber optics, but then I checked on kits and they were $150 to $350 just for a small one!!). So ,I figured the backround like yours, I could paint dark blue to match and it should blend in pretty well, I think. But tell me , is this fire safe? Thanks, Looks very pretty! I love these kinds of lights! The first year I lived in this house all I had was Christmas lights, Lol!!

Good Morning and Thank you for stopping by. What you're planning on doing sounds like a great inexpensive idea. :) As far as the issue of safety, when doing something like this, we each have to be mindful and use our own discretion when thinking of anything involving electricity, right? Every manufacturer and Christmas light is different and has different precautions. Also each house is different as far as electrical standards and some homes are already wired dangerously many times unbeknownst to the resident. We know that when dealing with Christmas lights, we must make sure we're using them properly. Indoor and outdoor lights must be used exactly as such. I can never advise someone what to do because not all situations are the same. I can only say to use wisdom, the knowledge you have about your home's electrical system, circuits, outlets, etc,, as well as your God-given instincts. Even if I'm 100% sure, I still take precautions. In this situation we will give the lights a break some nights by using alternative night lighting. Plus, our nursery is shared by the parents so the baby is not alone so we're pretty confident about it all. I hope I've helped. Thank you for your bid. Have a wonderful day and God Bless!!!! ~hugs~ Michele :)
