The listing, Vintage/Antique 1955 Ethereal Wedding Dress afl-cio ILGWU Label 1900's Period Look has ended.

A AFL-CIO ILGWU label dates the dress from approx 1955-1963. Very Edwardian Titanic style.
Seems are strong and the skirt is amazing and flowing. Fitted corset bodice. Pleated tulle "V" over decote' area and shoulder. This tulle straps can be worn up or down. Back Zipper, pearl button for bustling the train. Sash of tulle across the front skirt. Layered tulle for fullness and flowing when you walk. Beautiful large and small flower appliques adorned with AB clear sequins. It is in amazing condition, with few repairs noticed that do not show when wearing.
You may choose to leave alone or add a bit more bling. This is an off white, light cream color. The tulle is a bit whiter than the fabric, but not white. Pics look a bit bluer than in person.
Cleaned & steamed, though a professional cleaning & prep would be recommended for a few spots that are on the slip that touches the floor. Shown with a medium crinoline that is NOT included in price.
Very very wearable and would look fabulous on your wedding day!

Hi, you would need a good seamstress to let it out. Depending on your shape, it may work but unaltered, It would be snug in the bust and stomach waist area.

For some reason using your own boxes at USPS instead of the flat rate ones are cheaper don't know why but that's the way it is lol

I do agree at times. After 15 years of shipping, There are some items that just fit perfectly in a big box but size usually puts me over. This will do nicely , as well as I always encourage anyone to have their item cleaned and pressed upon arrival,

Not clear on the F&W stated, but there isn't any yellowing that I have noticed, Again please remember that this is an antique piece well preserved. It has it's imperfections for lack of a better word, but I do take special care to note any issues that I do come across. I will inspect it again in the morning (M.T,) and post results. It truly is a romantic dress.

Thank you for inquiring - great ? With clothing sizes changing rapidly it makes much more for accuracy to go by measurements.
According to US chart it is a size 0-2 (women or jr. depending on height.

I wish I could but it is very full and it will be pushing it putting it in the flat rate box, which is the cheapest shipping for the size. As well as I did not list the dress with any starting bid amount.
