This camera has video w/ audio (time of video is depending on the size of card).

The only thing the camera need's is the door where the memory card is (as shown in the pic). There is a scrartch as you can see in the pic. Other then that this camera works really great.

This would make a great gift for a B-day/Christmas gift for that special someone or maybe someone needing another camera.

It's just the memory card door. The memory card stays in the slot with no problem. You don't even have to have a door if you didn't want one.

will it work with the door missing? some cameras will not even turn on if the door is open.

Sure will. The door is only there to hide the compartment where the sd card is to make it look better, thats it. If you like, you can look at the books I have on my listings as I took those pics with the same camera. Hope that helps.

You can get one on ebay for a couple of bucks. Yeah my mom gave me this camera 6 months ago and it was like that when she gave it to me. I just never bought one. Its the memory card door. Still works great.
