I know right! I hate to get rid of it, but all its doing is sitting around in a box moving from location to location. Its time to let it go to someone who will put it to better use :)

Unfortunately the pin itself does not open. but I think with the right tools you can separate the rings that attach them to the pin. I'll have to check when I get home (I'm at work right now)
