The listing, Fossil Bird Eggs has ended.
******** Fossil Bird Eggs *********
These bird eggs were purchased at a rock shop in.Utah by Zion Park many years ago. I do not know much about them but if anyone else does please share in comments
They are about the size of robin eggs approx. 1/2 inch long and are opaque when held up to the sunlight
Feel free to ask questions or request additional picks.
Thanks for your interest
**** I love fans and will always fan you back and take a look at your auctions and watch what is of interest to me. Please do not advertise on this page as I paid extra credits for additional exposure. Thanks!
My degree is in geology, my thesis is over invertebrate fossils. Recently my hubby bought me a hadrosaur egg and I've been researching into Dino eggs. It doesn't have the right look to it and things like that would be rare or impossible to find in the fossil record, especially whole. Usually they're broken up or in pieces. My guess is you went to one of those local shops outside of Zion that makes money off of tourists who don't know fossils. May I ask how much you purchased them for?
I am so happy for your info!! I only paid of few bucks I'm sure as I bought them to put in my aquarium. They were in there a good ten years and did not change a bit. My tank never had live plants or algea. The stones and colr are true to pick and they have an opaque look when held to light. I thought maybe petrified?
W&F always. These are so cool. I love rocks. I thought I would get the bidding started for you. God bless you & yours. Keep spreading the love & always smile. :-)
