The listing, CARVED BOX WITH INLAY 8X4X2 1/2" has ended.

This is a beautifully carved wooden box. It has nice inlay work on the top. I tried to take pictures to show any imperfections. Picture 6 shows a corner that appears to be tacked on. Picture 7 shows a small crack. Picture 10 shows the hinges are separated. A handy person could easily fix this.

I am sorry. I do not know what year. Information I have found online says it is vintage. It also says the inlay is bone. It says the wood is from the Himalayas.
