It does look like crochet thread. Does it seem thin like what you would use for a kite? Can you tell me what colors there are? it's hard for me to tell on my computer. Thanks!

Thanks for letting me know the colors. I don't mean to try to use it for kite string, I was just trying to refer to the size a little. But I'm sure this is crochet thread...like someone would use to make a doily or maybe little Christmas ornaments or something. I'll be watching! Thanks again!

It's doily thread. I can't tell by your picture but to me it looks to be like a thicker cotton thread. Doesn't look like bed spread weight and for sure heavier than a #10 cotton thread. But still...it is doily thread. I know this because I work with it a lot.
