normal wear works good has stylus top opens to put sheets in has on off switch volume switch and download game button area to plug cartridge in and tray to hold cartridges has place to plug in headphones also batteries not included takes 4 AA batteries and it holds sheets in back does not come with usb cord but this is needed only if you want to use with computer you don't need it with cartridges or sheets so if you want to use with pc if you contact vtech I am sure you can get one very cheap:) from a smoke free home
