Silver Plated Moonstone Pendant

Moonstone is a very personal stone. It is a reflection of the person who owns it. It does not add or detract, only shows how it is. This is why the moonstone is said to perceive that which "is". Moonstone is an excellent stone to use in meditation to understand oneself.

Silver plating is to coat the piece with a thin layer of silver usually by electroplating. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT sterling silver and is not marked. In the United States, The National Gold and Silver Marketing Act DOES NOT REQUIRE precious metals to be marked with quality. (meaning a stamp) If your acidity level in your skin is higher it can cause oxidation due to the base metal. This usually only happens on thinner bands/rings or jewelry fittings.

CLEANING TIP: It is advised to take off your jewelry before washing or bathing. Clean it gently with soft cloth or an appropriate jewelry cleaner, this could help to eliminate any dirt or dust and make it last for years. This is for any metal purity or plating.
