Ok, so we all remember that famous Jerry Seinfeld episode 74 called "The Dinner Party" where Jerry and Elaine spend hours standing in a bakery trying to buy a Chocolate Babka.

While standing in line at a bakery, Jerry nibbles at a classic black-and-white, and as he nibbles, he reflects,
“The thing about eating the Black and White cookie, Elaine, is you want to get some black and some white in each bite. Nothing mixes better than vanilla and chocolate And yet somehow racial harmony eludes us. If people would only look to the cookie all our problems would be solved.” – Jerry Seinfeld, Seinfeld (The Dinner Party)

Can this be made without using milk with Lactose in it? :)

Yes Robert~it can be. :) In my household we also use lactose free milk as well as regular milk and my daughter substitutes the lactose free milk in many things including baked items without any problems. :) While we haven't specifically done so for this particular recipe, it can be done. :) In fact, on their website under FAQ, the company that makes LACTAID milk even assures us that the product can be used just like regular milk. :)

Unfortunately, I don't remember the episode from Seinfeld, since I rarely (and it's very rare) that I watched any of those shows ... but now I have more time ... sorta! :) lol

It's funny, but I've never gotten into any tv show when it was the trendy thing to watch~only after it has gone into syndication do I sometimes finally watch a show. Of course I had the time back then when my daughter was a teenager. lol Now with 2 grandchildren I too have no time for tv lol :) I couldn't tell you what's out there if my life depended on it hahahahahahahahaha :)

Tee hee ... yep ... I crawl out of the cave to get food, mail stuff, and sometimes meet up with people ...

There's been times I get to even have a meal with a bunch of people, but the good thing is I get out ... have to always try to do so, or i get a bit antsy. :)

Yeah, the TV sometimes just doesn't get much love - but that's alright ...

There's DVDs and VHS ... and (a site I won't mention in public) besides
YouTube and Hulu, that supplies a near-endless variety of videos and shows/movies to kill time when there's a few hours to use up. :)

I have this fondness for chatting - can't ya tell? . :) lol
