I have no experience with this because I decided to list my PSP around the same time I ordered this... BUT the idea is that you can use this battery in conjunction with a "magic memory stick" to be able to install a custom firmware to your PSP allowing you to play backup games and homebrew stuff?
You can look up how to make a magic memory stick online too. I think you can just make one with a regular pro stick duo memory card and your computer.

This cannot be used as a backup battery.
It's only to load your PSP into developer/recovery mode. This battery will also need to be charged a little before flashing your PSP I think or it may die in the process of flashing which would be bad I guess.

- Factory pre-modifed as Pandora battery
- When plugged into an PSP, enables developer/recovery mode in Playstation Portable.
- Allows recovering from bad ROM flashes and other bricks

My recommendation is to search google and youtube for PSP pandora battery flashing or something like that. Find out if you can use it and if you can then bid bid bid!

Any helpful and accurate comments/links/info are appreciated. Info how to to make a MMS and tutorials on how to get/load the firmware, etc...

So this is a already pre-made Pandora Battery? Sweet! I didn't want to risk my own, so now I can just pop it in and see! If I win of course! :)

This does work for 2001 model, right? :D

Yep, this is a premade battery which is why I originally ordered it. It didn't want to crack open my battery and slice some connection apart or whatever was necessary.
Basically I have been looking deeper into it and I really don't have an exact answer on if this will work for you and now I'm questioning if it'd even work for my psp2001 I have listed. I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter if it's 2000 or 2001 though, they label them as 200x for any variety of 2000's
A lot of people are pointing to this link
http://www.pspmod.com/forums/psp-misc-guides/46245-how-determine-whether-not-your-psp-hackable.html
Remove any spaces since it's a long link if it doesn't work.
That information on that page doesn't really help me directly though because I don't have my original box and I can't figure out what motherboard I even have.

I just realized that the link is pretty old information. If you read deep into the comments you may get an answer on your specific psp. Someone wrote that if its less than AB021600000, (bottom barcode) then it has a TA-088v1 and is Hackable. My psp falls in that category but I'm no expert and don't know to trust that exactly.
If anyone knows exactly how to determine which psp's are hackable or not and need this, please post. Thanks

Okay, it won't hurt to try though. Or at least I've been told it won't hurt my PSP lol

Yes, it's true, you can make a Pandora battery with your existing battery... Look it up on YouTube. It's not exactly risk free, which is EXACTLY why I didn't want to risk ruining my original battery and paid the $8 to order this one from Hong Kong. So here it is and here I offer it to the highest bidder.
Making a magic memory stick doesn't seem like it is all that difficult if you can find the proper files to make it. I'd google that yourself or contact drewdrew first and see if he'll help.

Actually, I've decided to unblock spartan303. I don't think he can do any damage to my listing because all you have to do is look at his picture of him flashing west side with his bling bling he got from his boyfriend to realize that he's just a dumbass kid that shouldn't be taken seriously.

Okay, checklist:
1. Venting complete (check)
2. Extra, unnecessary attacks at user who ***** me off just because I can (check)
3. Take the higher path (failed but very satisfied, check)
