you can't smoke with these and they work for 24 hours. If you go nuts and need to smoke have like 3 puffs or you might have heart palpitations. You still withdraw but these take the edge off. You have to commit to quit

I know what you mean i have COPD and other problems a friend of mine gave these to me and i tried but when you have a chain smoker its very hard.i can only deal with step 1 right now till she brings the others.she also said she believes the others expired at the end of last month but her drs said they are still good they just can't sell them past the date so i called my pharmacy and they said the same.
i can't put on till i get them but you can call your nearest pharmacy and ask please let me know what yours say thanks

no you wear the patch for 24 hours and throw away and put another on.
